Thousands of citizens from the state of Zulia participated in the traditional pink walk organized by the Friends of Women with Breast Cancer Foundation (FAMAC), an emotional day aimed at promoting prevention and awareness about women's health.
The event was attended by the governor of the state of Zulia, Luis Caldera, who highlighted the social and inspiring value of this mobilization.
“As every year, a pink tide is rising in our city for life, health and hope, but above all there is a call for conscience and solidarity. We are with you!” , he said.
To ensure the well-being of the families attending, the Bolivarian Government deployed a special security and preventive medical care operation along the entire route.
The protective and first aid equipment ensured the physical integrity and peace of mind of the participants during the development of the activity.
With this massive mobilization, the Zulian population and health authorities reaffirmed their collective commitment to the fight against breast cancer, consolidating the importance of early diagnosis, physical activity and timely screening as fundamental pillars for saving lives.
