The candidate of the revolutionary forces of Venezuela,
Nicolás Maduro, invited the people this Thursday to accompany him to walk the streets
of the country, at the beginning of the electoral campaign ahead of the presidential elections on July
28.
“The day has come to start everything, the day when each one of
you men and women standing, with your arguments, with your heart, with your
dreams will undertake with me a journey on foot to the Homeland inside, to the
deep Homeland,” he said from the San Francisco municipality of the state of Zulia, where he
was greeted by a massive march.
He pointed out that all the roads he will take next to the
Town, “in the Andes, in the Plains, on the coast, in the jungle, in the neighborhoods,
in the villages, lead to one place, to one temple: the Venezuela of the
future.”
The revolutionary leader indicated that the face of the People “allows him to
see a total being, a supreme leader, an exemplary father, and seeing
you I see Hugo Chávez Frías present. It is impossible to forget the day when Commander
Chávez told me 'Nicolás it's your turn now' and that day he said to the people: 'My full
conviction, like the absolute and total full Moon, is that I elect Nicolás
Maduro President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, '” he recalled.
