Zulia refines logistics for the National Popular Consultation with more than four thousand proposed projects

With the nomination of four thousand 50 community projects and the deployment of more than a thousand voting centers, the state of Zulia is refining the last logistical details for the Second National Popular Consultation, to be held next Sunday, October 18, according to the website of the Government of Zulia.

The Single Authority of Communes in the entity, Heiderth Rojas, reported that the 582 communes constituted in the region are actively making progress in organizational preparation together with electoral commissions and table presidents, in order to guarantee citizen participation in the day.

“We are preparing for our people to exercise their right and choose the project they want. Four thousand 50 projects will be the candidates that go to the Popular Consultation this October 18. Everything is ready, ready for what will be a great participation,” he said.

The proposals include initiatives in the areas of education, health, rehabilitation of sports fields and fundamental public services such as electricity, wastewater and drinking water.

Rojas highlighted the efforts of organized Popular Power and pointed out that these initiatives have the support of the national Government and the Government of Zulia, institutions that leverage and reinforce projects to ensure their effective and positive completion for the benefit of communities.
