ZULIA - MARACAIBO/President Nicolás Maduro: I am not a puppet of anyone, neither of economic groups nor of surnames

During a meeting with the structures of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in the municipalities of Maracaibo and San Francisco in the state of Zulia, the president of the red awning, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed this Saturday that he is the current People's candidate for the elections on July 28.
“I am not a puppet of anyone neither of economic groups nor of surnames. I stand next to the people, I wouldn't be anything or anyone if it weren't for you, for the ordinary people,” said the Homeland candidate from Maracaibo.
He stressed that what is at stake in the coming elections is “if the People remain president or the people are defeated, because by winning Maduro the People are President, the people are advancing in their own independent and sovereign model, I am the People President and you are the Presiding People”.
