Ahead of the elections of July 28, the president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, said this Saturday that the candidate of opposition extremism is manipulable and subservient to the interests of the United States (USA).
“If you are going to look for manipulable, cowardly people who owe their lives to imperialism and to these political groups of the old politics, look for them among the patarucos,” said the Patria candidate during a meeting with the structure of the red awning in the state of Zulia.
Meanwhile, he stressed that he represents the interests of all Venezuelans, who will continue to exercise power after the victory of the Bolivarian Revolution in the coming presidential elections. “There they are with their pataruco, here we are with our fine rooster, Chávez's rooster, the people's rooster,” he emphasized.
