ZULIA - MARACAIBO/President Maduro: Economic growth in the first quarter was 7% and by 2024 it will be greater than 8%

“Economic growth in the first quarter and growth was 7% and the estimates for this year are more than 8%,” said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during a meeting with the leaders of the basic structure of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

He stressed that this growth is in the real economy that produces goods and services, and arises as a result of the strength of the Venezuelan people who resisted the imperialist onslaught against the country backed by an extremist opposition that sought the suffocation of all Venezuelans.

“All these data about Venezuela that produces that grows were achieved with courage, with morals, with spirituality because the people said they would not give up and no one gave up,” he exalted.

In this regard, he called for guaranteeing a victory for the revolutionary forces to continue on the path of sovereign and independent growth of the new economy away from oil rentism.
