The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and candidate of the Homeland, Nicolás Maduro, assured this Thursday that the attempts at violence promoted by the extreme right in the face of the presidential elections of July 28 will be neutralized with the support of the People.
From Maracaibo, during a massive rally of the Zulian people, the Head of State emphasized the importance of the agreement to recognize the electoral results signed by most of the candidates before the National Electoral Council (CNE), except for the representation of extremism.
“This morning, the National Electoral Council summoned the 10 candidates. I attended because I respect the referee. We signed a document of respect and recognition of the electoral results (...) I signed because I want peace for Venezuela,” he said.
He also stressed that he stamped his rubric because he will not allow “guarimba” and violence in Venezuela either before or during or after the 28th. We will not allow it! The people cannot allow guarimba,” he emphasized.
