“When the date of the elections came out, we said: we have to organize for victory and the secret was to prepare ourselves first and we have been doing our homework,” emphasized the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello.

During his speech at the end of the Great Mobilization of the People of Maracaibo, in the state of Zulia, in support of the country's candidate, Nicolás Maduro, the psuvista leader stressed the importance of polishing and ensuring compliance with the 1x10x7 machinery this Sunday.

“As soon as the polling stations open, the people must start voting,” he instructed while dismissing the threats made by opposition extremism.

“Fascism is now saying that they are going to stay in the voting centers and I ask; does that scare us? No, they are provoking us because they know that the Chavista people are going to vote and are going to the streets, to battle and to victory,” he explained.

In this regard, he asked that in the face of this, “we must go out and vote and then we stay in the voting centers because if the right believes it will scare us, they don't scare us.”
