The Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MINSALUD) and the Government of the State of Zulia, has so far achieved 71 pacemaker implantation surgeries.
According to information published on the web portal of the newspaper Última Noticias, these surgeries were performed at the Autonomous University Hospital Service of Maracaibo and are part of the Health and Life Plan and the National Surgical Plan.
The interventions include the placement of unicameral and bicameral devices with stimulation modalities such as DDD and DDDR to patients selected through the evaluation of a medical team and according to the clinical condition of each person, whose requests were received through the VenApp application.
The Single Health Authority, Luz Mely Caldera, explained that this week we implanted seven new pacemakers at the University Hospital of Maracaibo, now totaling 55 patients treated through the VenApp, to consolidate a total of 71 surgical resolutions in the state of Zulia. We guarantee a better quality of life for our patients with free, efficient and humane medical care.
