Yván Gil: Venezuela reaffirms its solidarity with the people of Palestine

After 15 years of diplomatic relations with Palestine, Venezuela reaffirms its friendship and solidarity with this people who are currently suffering genocide, said Foreign Minister Yván Gil.

Through a message published on his X account, the holder of the foreign relations portfolio emphasized that 15 years ago Venezuela marked a historic milestone by recognizing the State of Palestine and establishing diplomatic relations with this Arab country.

“At that time, Chávez praised the struggle of the Palestinian people for their sovereignty and liberation from Israeli oppression,” he recalled.
