On November 2, the 26th anniversary of the INFOCENTRO Foundation, the Minister of Science and Technology, Yván Gil, congratulated the workers of this institution for their work in building a more inclusive future, where all people can access technologies, information and new development opportunities.
Through a message posted on his Telegram channel, Gil recalled that the Infocentro Foundation emerged as an initiative aimed at promoting digital inclusion and ensuring mass access to Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) throughout the country.
“Since its inception, Infocentro has set out to democratize access to technologies and contribute to the construction of sovereignty. Over time, their work expanded to make possible initiatives such as Online Government and robotics centers, which drive the second apex of the Great Science Mission,” said Gil.
