Yulimar Rojas comes to Paris to be the flag bearer of Venezuela and support our athletes

Yulimar Rojas, four-time world monarch and current triple jump Olympic gold medal, arrived this Thursday in Paris, the French capital where she will participate in the Olympic Games, as the flag bearer of the Venezuelan delegation, although she will not be able to defend her scepter as she is in the process of recovering from an injury.

“Being the champion in the end is like a prize, like an honor to my work (...) it's another plus for my delegation, for my team, which will give everything for everything for our country and beyond that, I'm going to add and give a little more injection of that energy,” Rojas said, quoted in a press release from the Venezuelan Olympic Committee (VOC).
