This Thursday, university students took to the streets of the city of Caracas in a march to commemorate their day. The mobilization went from the Bolivarian University of Venezuela (UBV) to the Miraflores Palace.
“That university students have better quality in our institutions; that's why we are going to accompany Nicolás Maduro on January 10 to be sworn in as Constitutional President of the Republic,” said Carlos Martínez, a student.
The Scientific Seedbeds were also part of the mobilization day and thanked the Venezuelan State for its support. Juan Ramírez reaffirmed his commitment to keep studying for the future of the Republic.
For his part, Brian Morales stated that “the main thing that youth should have is to be trained and trained because it is us, the youth, the professional students of this country, who are committed to building the Revolution as our Commander Hugo Chávez said”.
Young students have requested a National Student Consultation to approve projects in the university sector, during the National Congress of the Venezuelan Federation of University Students (FEVEU), in the Simon Bolivar Park of the La Carlota Air Base, and the Congress of the Venezuelan Federation of Middle Education Students (FEVEEM), in the Gran Colombia National Educational Unit.
