Faced with a new Guinness Record for the country, more than 1,700 young members of 36 show bands in the state of Táchira are preparing to obtain the title of the biggest band in progress in Venezuela.
For his part, the governor of the entity, Freddy Bernal, said: “It's a great challenge to obtain the Guinness Record for Marching Band.” In this regard, he explained that Venezuela wants to place about 15,000 young people on the music scene.
“This is a very important effort and we must congratulate the authorities of the Ministry of Youth, the Federation of Venezuelan Bands and the parents and representatives who are waiting to train their children in the musical field,” said Bernal.
He also highlighted that on 5th Avenue the different bands from the municipalities of the entity met. “All that remains is to congratulate the boys for being consistent, they already have the Guinnes Record for Symphony Orchestra and now we are going for another record. I am sure that Venezuelans, with their perseverance, patience and love, are going to win.”
