Venezuelan Yorgelis Salazar was crowned champion of the Karate Premier League, which was played in Casablanca, Morocco.
The Venezuelan won the gold medal in the -50 Kg Kumite Karate category, after dominating her counterpart from Kazakhstan, Moldir Zhangbyrbay 10-2.
Salazar managed to advance to the final after beating 4 opponents.
This is the sixth gold medal that the Venezuelan woman has won at the international level.
