Yemeni armed forces carry out military offensive in response to Saudi Arabian aggressions

The Armed Forces of the Republic of Yemen carried out a military operation with drones and missiles against strategic objectives in the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in response to continuous air strikes and the economic blockade imposed against the nation, as reported by the multistate channel Telesur.

According to the official military parties, the offensive action reached infrastructure facilities and points of defensive interest on Saudi territory, within the framework of the country's legitimate right to defend its territorial sovereignty and the protection of its citizens.

Spokesmen for the Yemeni forces said that “these operations will continue as long as the aggression and military siege against our territory persists,” holding the coalition led by Riyadh responsible for the consequences of the war escalation in the Middle East region.

The Yemeni Military Command reiterated that defensive actions will be maintained proportionately until the definitive cessation of external hostilities, the total lifting of unilateral restrictions and absolute respect for the self-determination of the Yemeni people is achieved.
