This Friday, May 10, the governor of Yaracuy, Julio León Heredia, stressed that Yaracuyans today raise their voices to tell the United States government to end the blockade and sanctions against the people of Venezuela.

“From this terroir of the state of Yaracuy, we tell the government of the United States to cease the sanctions and the criminal blockade that they have been applying against the Homeland, against the Venezuelan people,” said León Heredia from the entity's Independencia municipality, in which a great Mobilization was carried out in support of President Nicolás Maduro and in rejection of the sanctions.

He emphasized how these more than 900 unilateral coercive measures have been requested by sectors of the Venezuelan opposition. “Because of the rottenness of the opposition, because of the shitty last names... who have tried to bring the people of Venezuela to their knees and carry out the worst actions against the legitimate Government of President Nicolás Maduro,” he said.

For this reason, he ratified the commitment of the Yaracuyanos and Yaracuyanas to the candidate of the Fatherland, Nicolás Maduro, “who is there, not because the empire or the oligarchy decided it, but because thousands of men and women in assemblies in Venezuela placed him as the candidate.”

He reaffirmed that President Maduro “is the absolute leader of the Bolivarian Revolution and he is the man who has earned the love and respect of this people, for his courage, for his honesty, for his ability to lead and lead the people in the most difficult conditions to guarantee peace.”

He also recognized the conscience of the Venezuelan people who have remained loyal to the legacy of the Father of the Fatherland, Simon Bolivar and that of Commander Hugo Chávez. “On July 28, we are going to have a great victory, but let's not fall into triumphalism, we must be alert with the right (...) if you want to see Pueblo take revenge for Yaracuy (...) let no one let their guard down because on July 28, the day of the Commander, we must give him the greatest victory ever seen in Venezuela,” he said.
