The social network X, owned by the American magnate Elon Musk, was reactivated in Brazil after the authorization of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) minister, Alexandre de Moraes, who revoked the suspension planned for one month.
De Moraes stressed that the platform finally met all the necessary requirements for the reactivation and that the National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) must ensure its permanent compliance.
On August 30, the TSF decided to suspend it for judicial breaches, which meant that the platform had to give in to various conditions, including the payment of fines of 5.2 million dollars and the appointment of a legal representative in Brazil.
The minister stressed the importance of companies operating in the country respecting judicial decisions and national legislation, highlighting their responsibility in the Civil Framework of the Internet.
