World Wildlife Day: Respect for biodiversity on the planet

In 2013, the United Nations General Assembly declared March 3 as World Wildlife Day.
With the objective of protecting fauna and flora against poaching and trafficking in endangered species. In addition to raising awareness of respect for biodiversity on the planet.
Since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, efforts have been made to protect our natural resources, such as the Tree Mission, among others.
“The State shall protect the environment, biological diversity, genetic resources, ecological processes, national parks and natural monuments and other areas of special ecological importance. The genome of living beings cannot be patented, and the law that refers to bioethical principles will regulate the matter”, as established by the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (CBV) in article 127.
