World Water Day: Vital liquid that we all must preserve

In 1993, the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) declared March 22 as World Water Day.
This date aims to make the world's population aware of preserving this vital liquid, in order to maintain life on the planet.
“Water has an enormous and complex value for our homes, culture, health, education, economy and the integrity of our natural environment. If we overlook any of these values, we run the risk of mismanaging this finite and irreplaceable resource,” reads the UN website.
Venezuela is one of the countries with a large amount of fresh water in the world, which is why the People together with the Bolivarian Government defend this natural resource framed in the Constitution.
In this sense, Article 127 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (CRBV) enshrines the State's obligation, with the active participation of society, to guarantee the protection of water, in addition to other elements of ecosystems.
