World Day for Creativity and Innovation: Action and Commitment

Every April 21, the World Day of Creativity and Innovation is celebrated, a date declared by the United Nations (UN) with the objective of encouraging people to develop their capacity to achieve a sustainable future.
This date is also in honor of the birth of one of the iconic characters of creativity in history, Leonardo Da Vinci.
During the pandemic, the world worked on innovation and creativity to sustain the economy and production at a global level, in a way that benefits everyone to counteract the pandemic.
Nations China, Cuba, Russia developed their innovation development in the face of the pandemic crisis, with the production of effective vaccines and treatments against COVID-19.
For its part, in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, with the creation of Method 7+7, promoted by President Nicolás Maduro to counteract the virus, it allowed the country to remain among the countries with the least infections in South America.
In addition, Venezuelan scientists created the antiviral Carvartivir that counteracts COVID-19, a preventive drug in this time of pandemic.
Experts from the country continue to study COVID-19 to seek new treatments for the protection of the people.
