The first vice-president of the National Assembly (AN), Pedro Infante, reported that more than 300 parliamentarians from 70 countries, from all continents, will participate in the World Anti-Fascist Parliamentary Forum to be held from November 4 to 5 at the Bolivar de la Carlota Park Convention Center.

In this regard, he indicated that in this space proposals will be formulated for an action plan against the resurgence of fascism in the world and especially in the world 's parliaments dominated by the extreme right, which are used as instruments to attack different revolutionary processes

“Faced with this, there must be an anti-fascist front in every parliament,” he said during his interview on the program Al Aire, a Venezuelan television review.

As for the reform of electoral laws being carried out by the National Assembly, he said that a month had elapsed since the establishment of the National Dialogue Table, where 38 parties were convened and 34 attended.

“During the conference, we heard from representatives of Democratic Action, Copei and other parties, social movements and communes. This highlights the understanding of dialogue as the main way to resolve political problems,” he said.

He recalled that among the issues addressed are: Electoral Registration, party funding, voting abroad, gender parity and electoral crimes

He indicated that the reform of electoral laws aims to “shield the State and its institutions. Here they did not know, and there are those who do not know the Electoral Power. We will review everything within the Constitution.”
