Officials from the Aragua Fire Department and other firefighting institutions remain deployed in the Henri Pittier National Park, in a focus that remains active at kilometer 6 of the Maracay-Ocumare highway.

The information was released by Anthony De Benedictis, the sole authority of Ecosocialism in the state of Aragua, who specified that in the line of Las Guacamayas, before the Rancho Grande station, 76 officials are deployed working to calm the flames.

The Single Authority for Ecosocialism explained that non-domestic animals and exotic fauna that live in this important natural reservoir have been displaced due to the voracity of the flames, so they urge people in the communities surrounding the park to report the presence of any stray animal to the authorities, through the telephone number 0800-Ambiente or Ven911, so that a team can be brought to the site and carry out the respective rescue.
