Women entrepreneurs strengthen the Venezuelan economy thanks to the Great Venezuela Women's Mission

In order to recognize the contribution of women to economic and social development through its projects, the Great Venezuela Women's Mission organized a discussion, with women entrepreneurs from the Nora Castañeda User Network, in Pdvsa La Estancia, Chacao municipality in the Bolivarian state of Miranda, within the framework of the International Day of Women Entrepreneurs.
In this regard, the entrepreneur from the Renacer de Bolívar commune , Susana Zambrano, expressed a few words of thanks for the organization of this meeting and stated that thanks to the Great Mission of Venezuela Women they are developing a profession from their territory. She added that she is dedicated to making ham breads and is multiplying her knowledge to other women who want to learn,
“We are entrepreneurs, mothers, friends, we are the value of this country that we can carry on day by day, so that Venezuela can move forward for a better future for our children. She said that thanks to the training workshops offered by the Women's Development Bank (BanMujer), women are learning new jobs.
For her part, Marla Valdez, coordinator of the Women's Development Bank (BanMujer), began this meeting by narrating the first experiences of the Bank, since its creation by Commander Hugo Chávez in 2001, and assured that the first loans were granted to women in the state of Bolívar. She said that this entity was created with the objective of organizing women in the communities. “It was an instrument to reach women, to help women organized from their communities,” she added.
Meanwhile, María Fernanda Palencia, secretary of the third level of the GMVM, assured that women struggle, persevere, are responsible at home, and they also build the family's economy. He stressed that the history of BanMujer should never be forgotten, “how we were born, where we came from, who are our ancestors and the pioneers of these great things that the Bolivarian Revolution has generated through Commander Hugo Chávez and President Nicolás Maduro Moros.
In addition, Jhoanna Carrillo, head of the Ministry of Popular Power for Women and Gender Equality (MinMujer), stated that BanMujer and the third vertex of the GMVM bring together financial institutions, as well as the advice that President Maduro asks us to expand, expand, which tax and provide everything necessary for women to continue to empower themselves, with advice, formalizations and microcredits.
The National Coordinator of the GMVM also specified that reciprocity and co-responsibility are also involved. “I want to talk about how we should sustain this policy of growing and of continuing to grow. Today, President Nicolás Maduro calls on us to territorialization. Since the year 99 when the Bolivarian Revolution arrived, an extraordinary boom has come for Venezuela, but 2015 came with a decree that undoubtedly set us back 10 years. We have been resisting for 10 years,” he said.
Carrillo stressed that “Venezuela needs women with greatness, real builders of dreams that permeate everything that is done, that reach others who want to do it. I want to tell you companions that the time has come for us, and this country will only be able to see its glory when all of us pay tribute to the territory,” she said.
