The Venezuelan defender, with a powerful free-throw shot
that got into the angle, rescued 3 valuable points for his Boyacá Chico, who
beat Nacional 2-1, for the twelfth round of the opening tournament of the Colombian Betplay League.
The Venezuelan started, played full, and with little left until
the final whistle, with a free-kick goal he put him in the left corner of the rival goal.
With this goal, Plaza has 4 in 12 full matches,
played this season.
“The team with this victory is going to change the mood a lot. We were
two teams in need, we had to win and we knew that the Nacional is not
an easy team, but we were able to win which is the important thing,” Plazas told the
media.
He also assured that with the victory the group environment is
much better to face what is coming in the tournament.
This victory gives Boyacá a break, after 4 consecutive games without being victorious.
He is now ranked 17th in the
Colombian tournament with 12 points.
