The director of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Gebreyesus, denounced the poor condition of hospitals in Gaza due to the Israel-Palestine conflict.

In this regard, he indicated that only 9 out of 36 hospitals in Gaza are partially operational, while reporting that nearly 300 people die a day due to constant Israeli bombardments.

“I have lost count of the times I thought that the crisis in Gaza couldn't be more horrible. But it has happened again,” Adhanom said.

In this regard, he stressed that in these humanitarian spaces they must be respected since they should not be restricted to allow access to vital resources.

According to what was published on the TELESUR website, the director of the WHO reported that there are 20,000 dead and more than 52 injured in “almost three months it is both horrible and, above all, a farce for humanity,” he said.
