WHEN MARIO MORONTA AND ARTURO SOSA SUPPORTED THE SOLDIERS OF THE MBR-200

- On that date, both priests declared that they agreed with the flags of struggle for Social Justice raised by the rebellious soldiers of the 4F.
- Moronta**** expressed himself about Commander Chávez as “a man with quite clear ideas, that his freedom is interesting and recalled that the People need to see that justice is applied to those who are truly responsible for the destabilization”.
- Mario Moronta and Arturo Sosa s.j. , representing the most progressive sectors of the Venezuelan Catholic Church, expressed their adherence to the ideological position of Commander Hugo Chávez.
- For his part, Commander Hugo Chávez thanked the support that Monsignor Mario Moronta, Secretary General of the Venezuelan Episcopal Conference, and Arturo Sosa, as Provincial of the Society of Jesus, gave to the Bolivarian Movement 200, MBR-200, in the fight for Social Justice and for the health situation of the officers of the 4F, still imprisoned in different prison centers.
- In favor of dismissing the cause of the heroes of 4F were a list of intellectuals, lawyers and businessmen belonging to the group Los Notables and Pro Venezuela.
