This Tuesday, the regular session of the National Assembly (AN) was held where the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, presented the Bill against Fascism, Neofascism and similar expressions for discussion and approval by the Legislature.

In this regard, the deputy Diosdado Cabello Rondón, as head of the parliamentary faction of the Bloc de la Patria, stressed the importance of this legal instrument that seeks to put an end to these discriminatory expressions that threaten social peace, equality and humanity and recalled that:

  • In recent years, Venezuela has seen the monster up close, the monster of fascism, the monster disguises itself as many things.
  • For example, there is this man (Javier) Milei; he disguises himself as a madman, but no, he is not crazy, he is a fascist.
  • They dress up as a lot of things, they even put on costumes, they get dressed up, they put on habits and they go unnoticed for a long time.
  • Not only was discrimination practiced here for years, but sometimes very serious symptoms arise in political sectors in Venezuela with ties to the major spheres of the Government of the United States and European countries.

In this regard, he specified that the main element that marks the practitioners of this doctrine is the superiority complex over the rest of human beings:

  • Some people begin to practice and generate actions just to impose their criteria, their position and their character as a superiority complex that they carry inside and that makes them feel superior.
  • Fascism is like this: fascism boasts and doesn't care what other people think.
  • Leopoldo López called for and promoted a coup d'etat and violence, a fact that generated a number of deaths with the help of the major media and has now been converted from perpetrator to victim and those killed by Leopoldo López don't matter (...) they were people and looked like Chavistas.

In this regard, he dismissed the attacks that have been made against this legal instrument by opposition extremism, stating that:

  • Who disagrees against a law that punishes fascism ? The fascists! It's very easy to determine it.
  • It's not a law to persecute as they say out there, because that's not what it's about; those who burned living beings in Venezuela are protected in Spain and if Venezuela asks that that person be extradited, they say that the Venezuelan Government is persecuting that person and they declare themselves that way.

For this reason, he reiterated his call to join forces, stating that:

  •  Letting it grow - fascism - brings us to the situation we are in right now: impunity. Fascism is still there, so they talk about 'to the end' deceiving their own people, while their families live outside the country because fascism never exposes its people because they must ensure that the legacy continues.
  • It hurts fascism that we look into their eyes and tell them : you're a fascist, with the last names the idiots are defeating you, the Peoples are defeating you, the peasant from Sabaneta defeated you, the bus driver defeated you.
  • Not acting makes us even complicit in the situation and we don't want to be complicit in fascism. Let's go out together to fight it!
  • There is no dialogue with fascism, we cannot sit down and discuss this Law with fascism, so that the story of the wolf that makes the Law and establishes that it is legal to eat sheep does not happen. We are not going to dialogue with fascism because fascism must be combated and defeated.
