This Thursday, the deputy and president of the domestic policy committee of the National Assembly, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, participated in the regular session in which the Organic Bill for the Defense of Guiana Esequiba was unanimously approved, in which he said:

• “Let it be seen that the approval of this law is not just another document, it has to be like the Constitution, that it is enforced.”
• This law “is a model and must serve those who make decisions in the world so that they are very clear about what our decision will be from now on, that law must be complied with”.
• We were like brothers all over the country who loved the Homeland, sectors of Chavism, of the revolution; opposition sectors, whom I recognize for that campaign. Venezuelans who have nothing to do with politics accompanied this proposal, it was motivated, the national soul was awakened in a whole in defense of our territory.

With regard to the creation of a law that develops the provisions of article 130 of the Constitution to prevent those who have called for actions against the country from running for office of popular election, he said:

• “A person who called for sanctions, invasions, blockade, cannot think that they can aspire to a position of popular election in that territory that they previously wanted to hand over.”
• Venezuelans have a duty to honor and defend the homeland, its symbols and cultural values; to protect and protect the sovereignty, nationality, territorial integrity, self-determination and interests of the Nation.
