The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, held a videoconference with the Structures of the red awning to give guidelines for the corresponding tasks for the presidential elections of July 28.

During the meeting, Cabello emphasized the creation of 1x10 to organize militancy in each community and ensure the vote.

• “This has to be very real, verifiable, verifiable information that is verifiable and auditable by each of us. All the companions in our structure must have their 1x10”.
• “The 1X10 method has already worked and was Commander Hugo Chávez's idea. We must give him political treatment of attention, of accompaniment, nothing will happen if we don't make it happen, if we don't make the effort to make it happen”.
• “Let's do the job and the task right and once again demonstrate the strength of our party, we have to go further.”
• The easiest way to register the 1X10 is through the website of the United Socialist Party Venezuela, since “you can do it through any phone, that will allow you to receive messages and be up to date (...) Download your CC200, register, search for the 1X10 format and download your spreadsheet, it is important that you have it in physical and digital form, on your cell phone”.
  

• “Everyone must have 1X10 checked and organized, because it is for everyday political work, the state, municipal, parish management, UBCH, communities and streets, the entire structure must have its 1X10.” 
•  The manager must “ensure that those 10 vote (...) when they register their 1x10 payroll, the data of the colleagues must be there and we will take care of the rest”.
• “You must ensure that that person is going to vote and not just that they vote but that they do it for Maduro. This has to be a conscious work of political and street efficiency.”
  
• This tool calls for everyday, everyday political work on the street, in the neighborhood, in the block, in the village, in the village, hamlet and town.
• The members of the 1x10 pointed out that they can be part of it: members of the PSUV, Great Patriotic Pole and sympathizers, other patriotic voters or social movements; but it is the red awning that is the main base.
• Each person who registers a 1x10 must inform each voter who registered it in this structure to avoid duplication of data.
  

He also called on the militancy to focus on the presidential campaign, because that is what is at stake right now.

• “We are in a presidential campaign, there is no candidate for anything else here, the only thing that is at stake is the presidency of the Republic.”
• “We all need to be focused on the presidential campaign, there are no figures, no, it's the presidential candidacy.”

In the same way, he referred to the new graphic image of the PSUV.

• “We must be very aware: up and to the left, wherever you see the face of Chávez and Nicolás, that's it!”
• “Now the PSUV is like that, with the Commander's full face with a smile, reviewing people. For this campaign we have a graphic identity that we must fulfill, we are all obliged to comply with it.” 
•  The structures of the red awning have 75 days to spread the image of the daily figure of the PSUV, through walls, flannels, banners and images on the networks.

He reaffirmed the importance of fighting communication in the face of attacks and lies from the right.

• “Every 1x10 that is formed, from now on, must lead to the creation of a WhatsApp group. If I have a 1x10, the logical thing is for me to grab and make my WhatsApp group, because that 1x10 boss is probably going to receive instructions from the National Directorate or the Campaign Command, we send him a message and he must multiply the information, deliver it immediately to those who are in his 1x10”.
• “The communication battle is no longer in the newspapers or on the television as it was before, maybe it has some force on the whole issue of large corporations, but now the communication battle is closer, it's more immediate, it's even more authentic because you see that when these opposition people try to put a photo on certain planes, they immediately, instantly have the answer of someone who lived in a nearby building and took the photo from above and that died”.
• “The truth is imposed immediately, why? Because everyone with a phone is a reporter right now. We have a president, because he has given us that task to all of us to become full-time popular communicators. Communication war of the whole people!”
• The factors of the national and international right “control the networks and if the President (Maduro) immediately retrieves any information, their algorithms begin to stop the dissemination of that information, in some way, and multiply those that interest them (...) they do what is best for them, and are able to turn the perpetrators into victims. Social networks turn murderers into holy children.”
• “Everything that does a 1x10 has to be posted on the networks, for that the group, and whoever has Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, put it on the networks, because we are giving the instruction that all the militancy start to spread it (...) so that people know”.
• “The right wing will never come out and say that we fixed a school, they will deny any effort that is made to help our people, to give our people the greatest amount of happiness; that's what we have to do.”
• The communication battle is “daily, continuous and relentless”.
• “We have to say what we do, they (the right) don't, they have a structure and robots; they have structures in India, in Argentina, that pay them to repeat messages.”
• “Communication war of the whole town and we are going to win this battle, I have no doubt.”

In addition, he urged the revolutionary forces to stay close to the People to guarantee the solution to each of their needs.

• “The right hug, the sharing of time, that generates strength and emotion, but it's also good, even, for your health. That it gives reasons, arguments, that explains and bears witness to the Revolution, its achievements and our flags of struggle.”
• “Since 2015, it has been an almost epic battle, hardly Peoples of the world - with all the respect we have for the Peoples of the world - have been through what the People of Venezuela have been through and how this People have reinvented themselves, strengthened, remained united and in revolutionary consciousness.”
• “Our morale increases when we go to an activity and we feel the people's embrace (...) If the People want something in this country, it's peace; they got tired of those who burn human beings alive, they got tired of guarimberos, they got tired of those who are threatening invasions, they got tired of those who asked for sanctions, they got tired of what they called for invasions against our country, they got tired of those that generate violence with their own acts.”
• “This is going to be one of the most beautiful triumphs we are going to achieve, especially since this is a town of fighters who have been accompanying this epic since 2015. Everything has been achieved by heart, no one has given us anything and that is why we are not going to allow anyone to take anything from us.”
• “Let's make things happen in order to move forward. If I have my 1x10 and I'm only going to remember those people on election day, that's not going to work. The task is to work on it from now on.”

Regarding recent statements by the European Union (EU) regarding sanctions, he specified:

• “We don't need you to lift sanctions on us. We have demonstrated to you that despite the sanctions, we have succeeded.”
• The European Union has a colonialist mentality, they think they are the masters of the world, “building a hegemony based on hate”.
• “Gentlemen of the European Union, you are an evil for the world, you harm the world by believing yourself to be superior.”
• The sanctions against Venezuela are meant to steal the country's assets, “most of them have been stolen by the European Union”.
• “We are not a socialist country, yet; among other things, because they know that Commander Chávez's proposal would have already been solved, if they had not applied sanctions and blockades, the housing and health problem, but that is a problem for the world; that threatens capitalism, it attacks imperial powers.”
• “The European Union can say whatever it wants, but you are not the ones who are going to tell us or impose on us how we are going to do things. Here in Venezuela, things are decided by the People, not the European Union.”
