This Monday, September 30, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, led the red awning press conference, in which he gave details of the work agenda; as well as referring to issues of national and international interest.

In this regard, he indicated that part of the PSUV's work agenda this week is the holding of the Congress of the Historical Bloc in Caracas. In the same way, he took the opportunity to recognize Venezuelans in the sports field.

  • “This Friday, the Congress of the Historical Bloc begins, the five generations, the 7 transformations, the seven forces all working.”
  • The PSUV remains on permanent deployment throughout the country, attending to and listening to the militancy and to the entire people.
  • “Christmas kicks off despite the fact that some sectors don't want Christmas, because they can't give each other a happy new year or have a drink, nothing (...) October, November and December start; and on January 10, we swore in the President of the Republic”.
  • “The PSUV meets, discusses, reviews and there we are all working together.”
  • The Venezuelan baseball player, Luis Arráez, became the first major league player to win three batting titles with three different teams.
  • “Winning the batting title, Arráez prevents a player (Shohei) Ohtani, a Japanese player, from being crowned triple crowned, but already in 2022 he did the same thing, he prevented Aaron Judge from being crowned, a triple crowned; so the last triple crowned, for a change, is a Venezuelan named Miguel Cabrera”.

He also referred to the ongoing attacks against Venezuela by imperialism and its lackeys. In addition, he condemned international organizations that are only at the service of the United States.

  • “He's one of the useful fools of imperialism, every time they need someone to say something stupid, they look for a guy like Brian Nichols. The truth is that we don't care about the pressure that the United States can put on Spain to continue with sanctions against us.”
  • Nineteen years ago they gave the Bolivarian Government a deadline of eight days, “and here we are, we are not under pressure either by Spain or by the United States or by the European Union or by anyone”.
  • “In two years, no one will remember those characters, of Brian Nichols, but in 200 years we will continue to talk about the Bolivarian Revolution all over the world.”
  • Milei is a fascist and has a group of fascists around him (...) imperialism is the one behind all this and he, like a lapdog, goes and fulfills them. We are fighting for the theft of our assets, for the theft of our plane.”
  • Sooner rather than later, things are going to happen in Argentina, “because that people are not going to take it down, that people know how to act, they have patience and when they make decisions they do and comply”.
  • “Nobody cares about that (the UN General Assembly), it could be the 1 thousand and even the 1 thousand 200, but nobody cares because they never do anything, a beautiful effort to unite the Peoples was lost, a historic effort”.
  • The UN became “an instrument of the United States Government around the world”.
  • “The majority of those who voted (in the Colombian Congress) with that decision on Venezuela are linked to paramilitarism, drug trafficking and if they don't, they take their toll. Unlike Venezuela, we are free and sovereign. Here the United States (the United States) has no right to say anything!”
  • “They don't achieve anything with that, because we don't care what the Colombian Senate says is inconsequential.”
  • “We must be clear, our country is the jewel in the crown that they are looking for... For them, destabilizing has cost them a lot! on the contrary, what they have achieved is to strengthen us internally”.
  • “We respect their decision and I think the cause is because President López Obrador sent a letter on the subject of genocide against the native peoples and they didn't even bother to answer it (...) Countries invite whoever they want, friends, they invited President Nicolás Maduro and they didn't invite the king of Spain, I wouldn't have invited him either, but not a coffee.”

In the same way, he spoke about the attitude of the former candidate of the extreme right, Edmundo González Urrutia, from Spain.

  • He is following the same attitude as the self-proclaimed “president” of Narnia, Juan Guiadó, who is clearly motivated by the theft of resources.
  • “What moves them is money, theft. To 'Inmundo' we must add that he is a murderer of young people, he had death squads from the Venezuelan embassy in El Salvador in the 80s. He's used to killing young people, priests, and now you can tell he's a thief.”
  • “He fled cowardly as, as they say over there, La Sayona will flee”.
  • The extreme right will try to take the oath of office on January 10, but the only real and valid presidency will be that of Nicolás Maduro, who will be sworn in by the National Assembly (AN).
