This Wednesday, May 22, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, accompanied the people of San Fernando Apure in the mobilization in support of President Nicolás Maduro and against the criminal sanctions imposed by the United States government on the country.

During the activity, the militancy emphasized the importance of the organization in achieving the victory of the Bolivarian Revolution on July 28.

  • “The 1x10 must go beyond militancy (...), we are going to invite some who are unhappy, each patrolman and head of the party structure must have at least three who are not militants.”
  • “On July 28, we will sing to Commander Chávez his 70th birthday, but the Bolivarian Revolution will sing electoral victory, victory of the Bolivarian Revolution, victory of the People about surnames, about oligarchy”.
  • “Morale has always been high in the Apure State, very high. Because this is Bolivarian territory, Chavista territory, revolutionary territory.”
  • “The face of the People, the one that does not give up, the face of the combative People, the face of the woman, the face of the youth with their joy, with their songs, the face of the Apureño people”.
  • “This is the strongest and most secure vote of the Bolivarian Revolution (...) always help them in a supportive way, with the spirit of the friend, with the spirit of the son, the grandchild, the grandparents and grandmothers”.
  • “We have to ensure integral peace right now, in every community, through UPPAZ; it's not up to us to do justice, but we have to help justice, because they don't believe in the electoral route. They know they're lost!”

As for the Venezuelan opposition, he stressed that it is the same one that has called for sanctions and attacks against the Homeland, but that today they come out with the same lies to ask the people to vote.

    • “The right wing wants to convince us today that they never asked for sanctions, that they have not been behind the blockade, the right wants to tell the world today that they don't know anything about invasions, that they are new to Venezuela; but this people from Apurea know that the right wing asked for sanctions, called for blockade, called for invasions, called for coups d'etat , assassination attempts against brother President Nicolás Maduro and today he comes to ask for the people's vote.”
    • “They are deployed on the networks, in the major international media, campaigning through polling companies that exist in us.”
    • “They are the same people who said that Frijolito (Henrique Salas Römer) beat Chávez, that (Manuel) Rosales beat Chávez, that (Henrique ) Capriles beat Chávez and Nicolás, and the most recent that Henri Falcón beat Nicolás and that the governorates won; these are the recurring lies”.
    • “They have allegations of corruption everywhere, all opposition groups are corrupt, they sell their homeland, they have the capacity to hand over national territory in exchange for a handful of bills full of blood and hate.”
    • “The (the opposition) say they are organized. That's a lie, forget it! (...) We have to organize people to vote... They are organized for violence and guarimbas.”

      • “Now the opposition wants to sell him to us like a poor old man, but that man is a pervert. We are all going to grow old, but never with the evil and perversion of that man, who is part of a perverse plan to continue harming our people.”
      • “You know that the candidate with the last names, the candidate of sanctions, of the blockade, of the invasions, he doesn't like women, he said that women were not fit to hold positions of responsibility, that this was an invention of Chavism, giving responsibility to women; but I'm going to tell you something too, he said that the original peoples, the indigenous people, have no right of any kind.”
      • “I dare to say that they are the same people who came from hunting Indians here in Apure, to persecute the Cuban brothers, because here in Venezuela, in Apure, there was such a thing as hunting surnames to hunt Indians. It's the hate they have for us, it's the hatred they have for native peoples.”
      • The reality is that he doesn't “like blacks” either and he doesn't like sexodiversity. They are racist, exclusionary.”
