This Friday, April 26, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, accompanied the people of Turén, a Portuguese state, in a great mobilization in rejection of the criminal blockade and in support of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

During the event, Cabello highlighted the following about the People and the Revolution:

  • “The only one that can move Pueblo from one moment to the next is Chavism, it's the revolutionary forces, it's Nicolás Maduro, it's Chávez, it's the Revolution, no one else.”
  • “The streets belong to the people and not to the bourgeoisie, they are not the surnames, the streets are kicked by the revolutionary people, those who walk in the CLAP, those who walk on the street with the Barrio Adentro Mission, those who are on the street every day, those who are in the commune, where the community members and the community members are”.
  • “We are going to go out and vote to give them a beautiful and beautiful wallow, a wallow of forecasts so that in Venezuela the surnames, the bourgeoisie and imperialism will never rule again either by hook or by crow.”

  • Commander Chávez taught us to fight, to resist and to win.”
  • “The people always go out on the street! They were summoned last night. And what did the People say? We go out into the street, wherever they call us, when they call us, we will immediately be defending Nicolás (Maduro), the Revolution and Commander (Hugo) Chávez.”
  • “Let's raise our voices! Let it be heard; let the lackeys here tell imperialism... Let's keep fighting! Let's all go to the streets, to battle and to victory with Chávez, Nicolás and the Revolution.”
  • “The People of Venezuela also have a candidate and their name is Nicolás Maduro (...) and from this land of women, men, students, and youth, we demand that North American imperialism lift the blockade against Venezuela.”

Regarding imperialism and its candidate, he pointed out:

  • The representatives of the right, who requested blockade and sanctions against the people of Venezuela, now intend to ask for votes in favor of their candidate.
  • “The blockade candidate, the sanctions candidate says that women don't deserve to be anywhere, someone is going to come after 25 years of Revolution to mess with the most beautiful thing in this country, which is Venezuelan women.”
  •  “He doesn't like black people, because they're pure; all of us have something black and something indigenous in our blood; because that's the way Venezuela is.”
  • “Imperialism today comes to ask for votes from those who have been screwed up for 25 years, those who have been asking for sanctions for 25 years (...) they come to ask for votes because they don't remember, because they believe that this people are still an idiot.”
  •  “That right wing will come out and say fraud, when they are the fraud, they are fraudulent even in their way of acting, they will not recognize the result.”

  • “North American imperialism is still playing hard (...) they continue to press, they continue to prosecute, they continue to apply sanctions, they continue to apply the blockade against our country, but now without any kind of shame”.
  • Let the Bolivarian Revolution govern “so that this People may be happier, to give an answer to everything that the People ask for immediately.”
