What did Diosdado Cabello say on September 17, 2024?

This Tuesday, September 17, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, participated in the regular session of the National Assembly (AN) in which he offered details about the seizure of weapons from the United States for destabilizing plans in Venezuela.

In that regard, he referred to the role of the United States and the opposition sectors that drive violence and destabilization actions in Venezuela.

• “The United States manufactures and exports AK-47s; and not just AK-47s, they have made sure to manufacture weapons to deliver to different movements, or how do you think they have created all the destabilizing movements in the world?”
• “One of the matrices is: Who is such a fool to bring 400 rifles by normal means? Well, if what you want is to surprise you do it where no one suspects, a drug trafficker tries to pass the drug through where no one suspects, an arms dealer does the same thing. It's normal, a door to door, fortunately our mechanisms are working.”
• “At this moment, 20 minutes ago, another citizen of North American origin was captured, and we had been following him. He was captured here in Caracas taking pictures of electrical installations, oil installations, military units.”
• The plan of the extreme right is to turn the nation into a “State where no institution works, where everyone is linked to crime”.
• It is an operation against Venezuela “designed by the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency), promoted and financed by the CIA”.
• Will the Government of the United States (USA) know about this operation? , since “nowadays you don't know who's in charge in the United States. Is the CIA doing this with the President's consent or is it doing it alone? Is the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) also behind all this? The Pentagon? Who else is behind all this?”
• “It wasn't that we aborted the operation, no, what we did was give them a hard blow, because today another gringo was captured and yesterday another batch of weapons, all AK-47, manufactured in the United States, were captured.”

Regarding the two Spanish detainees and the involvement of the Spanish National Intelligence Center (CNI), he said:

• Two Spanish citizens involved in these plans were arrested and confessed that the Spanish National Intelligence Center (CNI) hires mercenaries and is in Venezuela.
  
• “The Spanish CNI knows that this is true, as does the CIA, which is the command center for these operations.”
• They are “sheltered in a safe place. We respect human rights.”
• “We've asked people of Spanish origin and they don't go on vacation in September (...) Their holidays are in July and August. It's strange that they're on vacation in September! (...) It's strange that two Spaniards come from so far away to go sightseeing in Puerto Ayacucho, that they would first have gone to the beaches of La Guaira, Falcón, Margarita”.
• “One person stated the existence of an operation prepared from Europe by an intelligence agency that was recruiting personnel to bring him to Venezuela. That person stated that they had touched (contacted) him and had given him the plan but that he was not going to execute it. The interviewee pointed out the existence of people in Venezuela who were operating and working, all under the eyes of the Spanish organization.”
• “The heads of the CNI are the CIA, the rest is a façade, a mask.”
  

He also reaffirmed that Venezuela will stand in defense of the sovereignty of the Homeland and will ensure that peace and justice reign.

• “Just as they have been defeated on other occasions, we are going to defeat them again”,.
• “Those who try to mess with Venezuela are going to fuck them up no matter what they are called.” 
•  “Venezuela has a very powerful antibody, which is the conscience of our people. He is not the first time he has come to Venezuela.”
• “This person reports and says that this guy is very rare, he has led him to take pictures in such and such places (...) And he took us to where the person was, he has just been arrested, rest assured that this gentleman is part of the plan against Venezuela, of the plan against our country.”
• This situation “is not just a problem for the Government, but a problem for all Venezuelans (...) it is not just a problem for the police forces; it belongs to everyone and everyone, it is not a problem of Chavism”.
• “Chavism is working to guarantee peace to all Venezuelans (...) We are obliged to defend our homeland and our sovereignty.”
• “We are obliged to defend our Homeland and our sovereignty and when it comes to defending our Homeland and sovereignty, nothing will stop us.”
• “Each one of us is alert, pending, no one dismisses any information, strange movements. Within the framework of this Constitution and the law, we are going to do what we have to do to protect our country.”
• “Everyone who appears involved and committed will be brought to justice. Impunity is over! They can say whatever they want.”
• “We were informed by the people in the neighborhood themselves. They are not going to mock justice. The new generations are going to receive a country in peace, we are going to give them a country in peace.”
• “No, no, but if a U.S. citizen is involved in a conspiracy to harm our country, rest assured that we're going for him or her.”
• “Those who have mourners, who are from their country, are safe here, they are telling us everything, they are going to pay to justice for the crimes they committed and those they intended to commit here in Venezuela.”
• “The chain must be cut at all levels. When we grab one of those who finance, if it's true that they're going to scream, they heard, when those who finance fall.”
