The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, celebrated this Monday, from Shenzhen, in the People's Republic of China, the Bicentennial of the Battle of Ayacucho, a heroic feat that sealed the definitive independence of Latin America.

Through a video released on his Telegram channel, Rodríguez pointed out that “today we Venezuelans feel profoundly proud, wherever we are we feel the greatness of the Battle of Ayacucho fought by our Grand Marshal” Antonio José de Sucre, who “was not even 30 years old when he commanded the patriotic army of Ayacucho in the highlands of Peru”.

“ We will always be fighting, day by day, for our national independence, for freedom, for sovereignty, but, above all, for the glory of our Liberation Army . Long live Venezuela! Long live Ayacucho! Happy Bicentennial of Ayacucho!” , said the Executive Vice President, stressing that Ayacucho represents the greatness and glorious destiny of Venezuelan youth.
