Water Ministry held meetings with the country's municipalities to strengthen the water system

As part of the 7 Transformations built by the Venezuelan People and the Bolivarian Government, led by President Nicolás Maduro, the Ministry of the People's Power for Water Care and the country's 17 hydrological organizations were deployed throughout the country in meetings with the Technical Water Boards, to promote the necessary changes and optimize the water system.

The municipalities and parishes with the highest percentage of attention were prioritized according to the Patria survey, in order to know in each territory the voice difficulties of their own communities, in addition to evaluating the cases reported through the 1x10 of Good Governance, with the purpose of promoting the transfer of power to communal circuits and realizing the Second Transformation: The construction of human cities for good living, public services, infrastructure and public works.

This popular mobilization included the participation of the 365 Technical Water Boards formed throughout the country, the presidents of regional hydrological companies, 1,494 Community Councils, 1,527 participations of spokespersons and more than 4,200 participants; in addition, representatives of the FANB (REDI, ZODI, ODDI) attended to consolidate the civic-military-police fusion.

During the day, the attendees discussed and sought solutions to their problems in accordance with the provisions of the National Water System Plan, in order to meet the needs of people who live in the different prioritized municipalities.

The minister of the People's Power for Water Care, engineer Carlos Mast Yustiz, visited the Fabricio Ojeda Endogenous Development Center, located in the Sucre parish of Caracas, with the purpose of evaluating the proposals of 65 community councils, embodied in a Specific Agenda of Actions to improve drinking water and wastewater service.

On his social network Instagram @mastporlapatria, the official expressed his commitment “to collective well-being and the construction of a better future to carry out instructions from our president Nicolás Maduro. Each idea shared, each proposal discussed, is one more step towards the materialization of our dreams. Let's keep working together for a country where power is in the hands of its people!”
