On April 22, 1870, Vladimir Ilich Ulyanov was born in Simbirsk, Russia, a man who was the main protagonist of the October Revolution and the main figure of the first Socialist Revolution in human history, becoming the founding father of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
A passionate reader, from an early age, he excelled in his studies, graduating as a lawyer from the law school of the University of Kazan, where he came into contact with the revolutionary movement and began to make a Marxist critique of populism.
In 1895 he was arrested by the authorities and deported to Siberia under police surveillance, a period of five years that he used to write his work “The Development of Capitalism in Russia”.
After his return, he was forced to go into exile, taking a journey that took him to several European countries and where he met several important figures of Marxism, increasing his training.
It was from this exile that the formation of a revolutionary movement began, which would execute the so-called Red October, which was essential for the founding of the Soviet Revolution that forged the first socialist republic on the planet, which was an example in the promotion of equality, social justice and the formation of man for service to humanity.
154 years after the birth of this distinguished revolutionary, the peoples of the world raise their flags of struggle, to continue with their guidance, forging a world free from exploitation and capitalist predation, where justice, solidarity and peace prevail.
