The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) is the vanguard of the organized People, based on a project, said the Supreme Commander, Hugo Chávez Frías, on May 24, 2010.“This is indeed an organized party with a machine, with a project. What is the opposition's project? There are no projects there (...) They have no direction, they don't even know where most of them are going, some of them are, those behind them driving them. They have no structure, no organization, no leadership. Here in the Socialist Party there is leadership and when I say leadership I don't mean Chávez, no, I'm just part of a national leadership structure,” said the Commander from the Miraflores Palace.
