Visionary Chávez: The day all South Americans sing like one rooster, that day they will respect us

From the state of Carabobo, on September 11, 2008, Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez invited all South Americans to speak with one voice.
“The day that all South Americans crow like a single rooster, that day they will respect us. That's the secret, when we speak with one voice that day, the world's powerful will respect us,” Chávez said.
In that sense, he affirmed that the powerful of the world have divided us and everyone is defending their own interests. “Not us, we defend and will defend the dignity of our peoples to the last consequences,” he said.
“We want to tell the world that here in Venezuela the peoples of the world have a supportive country and that Bolívar's daughter , Bolivia, has millions of us in Venezuela willing to fight for Bolivia, for its dignity and for its independence,” he added.
He also argued that in the midst of a great global economic crisis, in the political sphere, in a crisis of world capitalism, Venezuelans “are in the vanguard”, opening an alternative path to neoliberalism, determined to build our socialism.
“Threats go everywhere, that's why a peeled eye, a bald eye, a lot of unity, a lot of awareness, a lot of mobilization, the people have to be on the street, that's the best insurance against the coup or against any other threat,” he said.
