Visionary Chávez: Imperialism's threats against Venezuela are due to oil reserves

The threats of imperialism against Venezuela are due to the large oil reserves that our country has and which they want to seize, said the Supreme Commander , Hugo Chávez Frías, from the Municipal Theater of Caracas.

“That is why we have to leave to them a solid country, solid institutions, a solid, great and deep national conscience of Venezuela, of the homeland, knowledge, virtues, values and a capacity for defense that we did not have, now we are starting to lift up,” Chávez said on February 11, 2010.
