The Venezuelan U20 Women's National Team fell 0-2 to its Brazilian counterpart on the penultimate round of the South American Final Phase that takes place in Ecuador.
Despite the defeat, the Criollas still have a chance of qualifying for the World Cup, to do so they must win or draw with Argentina on the last date.
Brazil remains undefeated, with a perfect score of 12 points in 4 games, followed by Paraguay and Colombia, who have 7 points each. Then there is Argentina with 4, Venezuela with 3 and Peru with 1.
