Vinotinto will face the Brazilian team this
Friday, at the Oscar Harrison Arena, in the semifinals of the
Futsal Cup America, which takes place in Paraguay.
The Criollos won an overwhelming 8-0
victory over Ecuador this Wednesday, on the last day of the group stage, a result
that allowed them to go to the next round and qualified for the 2024 World Cup in Uzbekistan.
Those led by Robinson Romero repeat the feat of 2020,
when they qualified for the 2021 World Cup in Lithuania, in which they finished in eighth position.
The resounding victory against Ecuador and
Paraguay's 4-0 win over Colombia assured Venezuela of its passage to the second
world championship in its history.
