The Venezuelan Under-17 Football Team advances to the Gold Phase of the international Canteras de América
tournament, which is being held in Argentina,
leading Group A of the competition.
The Criollos achieved their pass with a resounding 3-0 victory
against Peñarol in the first match of the tournament and a 1-1 draw against Estudiantes de La Plata, in their second appearance.
Those led by Ricardo Valiño fell by the minimum in their last group stage match against Chile's Colo Colo 1-0.
