Vice President: The BRICS are the current engine of the world economy

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian
Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, during her speech
at the seventh edition of the International Russian Energy Week Forum,
held in Moscow, highlighted the
fundamental role of the BRICS in the world economy.
Rodríguez described integration as “the current engine of the world economy”,
while rejecting economic aggressions against Russia by the West.
He also welcomed the fact that Russia reconsidered its energy participation in
international markets based on illegal sanctions, “based on these economic
aggressions, Russia has managed to relocate its products to
Asia, which went from 39% to 60 percent; oil trade occurs in
rubles, in this search for new networks of countries that allows an interconnection
different from what the hegemonism of the West intends to impose, Russia is an energy leader and they have not been able to deal with Russia, as well as
they haven't been able to deal with
Venezuela.”
