The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during the installation of Expo Fedeindustria 2024 in Caracas, called on public and private business representatives to strengthen the sovereignty of the national currency, the bolivar.

“The policy is to strengthen our monetary sovereignty, that the bolivar has the leadership and there will immediately be a tremendous and positive impact,” he added during his speech, together with the president of Fedeindustria, Orlando Camacho, and economic authorities of the Bolivarian Government.

He reported that the digital bolivar is a strength that must be consolidated, and noted that the ongoing economic recovery achieved by President Nicolás Maduro Moros is not accidental or improvised, but planned and successful, thanks to the resistance of the Venezuelan people and businessmen, entrepreneurs and merchants, who fought against the criminal unilateral coercive measures of imperial enemies.

“In this exhibition, I am very pleased to see Venezuelan companies with decades of existence that did not succumb to the blockade. I say; here we have a territory free of blockade, this is a territory of victory for Venezuela, for Venezuelan women and Venezuelans. I am very happy to see companies that have a long existence in the country for decades, and others that are emerging, that means that we are moving along the right path,” he said.

He asserted that Venezuela is building its path to being an invincible power, but to make it a reality, it is necessary to achieve economic sovereignty, as in the agro-industry sector, which increased national food production in an unprecedented and historic way.

“So, the path left us by the blockade was the path of sovereignty and independence, and we have to consolidate educational, cultural and technological independence at the service of the country's productive processes,” he emphasized.
