Vice President Rodríguez: The country's economy has gone through three stages in the last 25 years

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed that the country's economy has gone through three stages in the last 25 years.

At the opening ceremony of the Expo Feria “25 Years of Homeland”, Rodríguez took a tour with the Head of State Nicolás Maduro to whom he explained the stages.

He recalled that with the arrival of Commander Hugo Chávez, a new economic model was promoted that aimed at maximum social happiness with the creation of missions and great missions.

“The second phase covers the last 10 years of the Revolution, which began with sanctions and the economic blockade, to which the resistance of the people is added.”

In the opinion of the country's executive vice-president, the last stage highlights the diversification of the economy, the strengthening of the 18 productive engines, as well as the promotion of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda.
