This Friday, October 25, the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, emphasized that she held a meeting with her counterpart from India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, to strengthen bilateral relations and review the map of cooperation in energy matters between the two nations.

“We are there precisely consolidating that path, seeing new projects in that India-Venezuela strategic future,” he highlighted from the Asian nation.

He also indicated that he had a working meeting with representatives of the private company Reliance Industries, an energy giant with the largest refinery in the world, with which, with Commander Hugo Chávez, he arrived in Venezuela to establish strategic agreements.

He also emphasized the meeting held by a meeting with the Minister of Petroleum of India, in which the projects that exist with Venezuela were reviewed, as well as new issues with a strategic vision were addressed.

“Always with the strategic vision of what Venezuela means and what India will be like in 10 years (...) and of the role that our strategic country will also play in its economic expansion, in its expansion of great potential,” he said and described the visit to India as extraordinary.

On the other hand, he highlighted the speech of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, at the XVI BRICS Summit, on the historic role of this integration block.

He reaffirmed that the BRICS, as the Head of State said, are rising “against the hegemonism of the dollar, which has served as blackmail against independent countries that hold the flags of self-determination, with the configuration of a new geopolitics respectful of multilateralism and international law that can truly guarantee peace”.

He emphasized that Venezuela continues to work with “its geopolitical peace diplomacy in a world of turmoil and great challenges, where countries have to raise our voices to guarantee peace and stability in the world.”
