Vice President Rodríguez oversaw the development of the Warehouse and Open Air Markets Plan in Lídice

This Saturday, November 9th , the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, oversaw the deployment of the Winery Plan and the installation of Open Air Markets for the Sovereign Field Fair that took place in the Lídice sector of the La Pastora parish in Caracas.
“We are precisely inspecting the popular organization, how the conjunction of the popular organization, the national, regional and local government, come together in a single force to defeat the criminal blockade,” he said, noting that the supervision of the Warehouse Plan and the Open Air Markets.
He noted that the distribution of proteins, legumes, fruits, dried vegetables, and others was checked. At the same time, he pointed out that within the framework of these plans, the population can purchase food at affordable prices.
“When we compare the prices of the commercial distribution network at the national level, with the prices of the Warehouse Plan, it is half the price of the products; and that is the meaning of the Bodega Plan, it is the plan to eliminate intermediaries in supply chains that lower the cost of products,” he said.
In addition, he stressed that with these actions, the Bolivarian Government continues to work to “guarantee the nourishment of the sectors that have been hardest hit by the criminal blockade, protect the sectors most affected by the criminal blockade (...) with the conscience of our people, we make the right to our sovereignty and the right to self-determination and independence prevail.”
During the tour, Rodríguez also accompanied the inauguration of the Grandparents' House in Lídice, which will serve more than 700 grandparents in the community with different activities and services for the well-being of older adults.
“Let nothing stop Venezuela, there is no criminal blockade that can stop Venezuela,” he said, stressing that public and private sector companies work together for the country's economic development.
