Vice President Rodríguez: More than 77% of the 2024 budget will be allocated to social investment

Before the plenary of the National Assembly (AN), the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that the budget for 2024 will be 729,948 million 434,691 bolivars.

“That's 77.4% of the budget for social investment. It must be our goal, it must be our strategic, real activity, that where the most vulnerable are, than wherever the sectors that make up social welfare are with an essential consensus to which President Nicolás Maduro has summoned us,” said Rodríguez.

In this regard, he indicated that ordinary income is calculated at 38.80%, extraordinary income at 47.80% and indebtedness at 13.40%.

“This budget exercise for 2024 comes with great hope for the victories that are in store for our people,” he emphasized while stressing that it has been Venezuelans who have never surrendered to the blockade.
