Vice President Rodriguez met with the president of the China Petroleum Corporation in Beijing

Both authorities reiterated that Venezuela and China are partners of mutual trust and common development that work to defend world justice.

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and Minister of People's Power for Petroleum, Delcy Rodríguez, met this Friday in Beijing with the president of the National Petroleum Corporation of China, Dai Houliang, to review strategic alliances in energy matters and joint investment projects.

According to a publication on the Telegram channel of the Executive Vice Presidency, during this meeting, both authorities reiterated that Venezuela and China are partners of mutual trust and common development that work to defend world justice and the interests of countries to face the external pressures of imperial factors.

They also welcomed the increase in binational exchange, which in the last ten months has registered an increase of 55% compared to 2023. They reviewed the long, comprehensive chain of cooperation they share in the energy industry, encompassing investments in production, product trade, and technology and engineering services.
